FSD Racing started as FS
Racing when Bryan and Jeremy started racing radio controlled (RC)
off-road buggies in 1995. Looking to fulfill the need for the
adrenaline rush that was associated with racing motocross in Bryan's
youth, the 'boys' started with a 'safer' racing sport.
The FS Racing team
evolved into FSD Racing when the girls (Jeremy's sisters) started
racing cross country mountain bikes along with the boys. This
team involved Bryan, Jeremy, Natalie, Tiffany and Austin.
Lacy started to ride mountain bikes, but not competitively. Mom
wanted to ride but had bad memories from a childhood
crash!
When Jeremy purchased
his first motorcycle, a1991 Honda CR250, the motocross itch
returned. When Bryan helped Jeremy purchase his second
motorcycle, a 1996 Yamaha YZ250, Bryan started riding and racing the
'old' CR along with Jeremy and his 'new' YZ. Bryan and Jeremy
continued racing through the ranks and Bryan actually raced the
White Brothers Vet World Championship at Glen Helen Raceway in
Southern California in 2000. He was moved up, during the event, from the Novice class
to the Intermediate class and performed well against the World class
field that was in attendance.
Austin has joined the racing ranks and now the 'boys' (Bryan, Jeremy
and Austin) race competitively and are very close in speed. During
every outing at the local race tracks, attention is drawn to the
three YZ's racing so closely with each other. Austin races a 125cc
motorcycle and Bryan and Jeremy both race 250cc motorcycles. Lacy
has yet to actually race, but enjoys riding at the track with Dad
and the boys. She wants to attempt to race competitively, but needs
a bike that is a little faster than the TTR90 that she now
rides.
Natalie has a Honda
EX250 quad and also enjoys the frequent visits to the track with the
group. She gets a little crazy when she rides and fully enjoys her
quad.
